Eric D. Offner is and has been, for more than a decade, President of The Sidney Bechet Society, Ltd. He is a jazz record producer, jazz historian, was Editor of the Bechet Quarterly, wrote liner notes, and is a producer of jazz concerts at many venues, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, NY Town Hall, Flushing Town Hall, Symphony Space, and many other locations.
