For more than a decade, Elaine Smitha has integrated her mission to reach millions with innovative concepts for personal growth and development with that of her cutting edge television show, "Evolving Ideas". In 2005 she expanded her mission to Internet radio on The Progressive Radio Network. Her accumulated wisdom, skills, business acumen and lifetime experiences were developed through more than 30 years of teaching, training, and professional speaking to inspire and motivate business professionals and laypersons to look beyond conventional modalities for answers to life's pressing questions; especially those having to do with wellness, and living a life extraordinaire. Smitha is a multi-talented woman with visionary perspectives whose frontier is gaining knowledge of how the universe works to better understand the nature of who we are in our relationship to it. Ever since she healed herself in 1993 after neurotoxic poisoning from oil-based paint, her primary mission has been to introduce and advance awareness, and knowledge of the body's innate intelligence to heal itself, given the right environment.
She founded Webworks in 1987, sponsoring workshops and lecture events on progressive ideas with leading edge thinkers, and continues to play on the edge of discovery as the Executive Producer and Host of The Elaine Smitha Show on TCTV and the Internet’s Progressive Radio Network. With an insatiable appetite to learn, she shares her journey with her audience.
A world traveler, Elaine Smitha graduated from Drake University with honors and a scholarship toward her Masters Degree, which she did in 1 1/2 years. Her innovation to raise awareness began in West Des Moines, IA where she initiated the first Fine Arts Week in the city's history when teaching 3-D Art at Valley High School, receiving Teacher of the Year award for outstanding achievement. Smitha later taught at Cornish School of Allied Arts in Seattle, Edmonds and Shoreline Colleges, Seattle Pacific University, and as an education supervisor at St. Martin's University. She holds lifetime teaching credentials. She's also a businesswoman.
In 2011, Elaine authored: Screwing Mother Nature For Profit, How Corporations Betray Our Trust And Why The ‘New Biology’ Offers An Ethical And Sustainable Future. and in 2003 the first self-healing handbook based on the new biology: "If You Make The Rules, How Come You're Not Boss?
