What is consciousness - really?

Consciousness has become a very big word in our normal lexicon so I'm interviewing an author and professor of consciousness studies Christian de Quincey.  His books are "Radical Knowing", "Radical Nature" and "Consciousness from Zombies to Angels" and he teaches at John F. Kennedy University, the University of Philosophical Research and The Wisdom Academy. This is all about the nature of consciousness, what it is and how we best work with it.  You'll be fascinated by this show.

Are you a gold, red, blue, or green personality...?

Back from Record Breaking Voyage...

Reid Stowe created a miracle being at sea non-stop for over 3 years. The last 2 years, he was alone on his 70 foot Schooner Ann in the middle of the ocean.  How he survived the very challenging journey is amazing.  His boat was damaged near the beginning in a collision with a freighter and he sailed with a disabled boat all those years. He even capsized a couple of times. You can see the journey on his website 1000days.net and look at a map that shows the GPS of each day. I recorded the interview already and he provides very colorful commentary and details of what happened. When he arrived last week, all the networks had camera crews and his photo was in newspapers all over the world.

Living in Truth or Fantasy...?

I'm interviewing John Lear, a very well known personality in the conspiracy field. Hundreds of thousands watch the youtube interviews about his unusual theories of science and life on this planet as well as very unique ideas about 9/11 (different than you've probably heard before). He doesn't even believe in many of the usual conspiracies that are going around. You'll be very entertained by his understandings. Fortunately, he knows it's a stretch to embrace a lot of what he says but I think he makes a great contribution to stir the pot and get us thinking about how we might not really understand what's out there.

Many scientists have been troubled about the validity of spirituality. To them it might not be more than a figment of our imagination. In my interview with Dr. Charles Tart, a transpersonal psychologist and the author of "The End of Materialism - How Evidence of the Paranormal Is Bringing Science and Spirit Together", we talk about this tenuous relationship. Dr. Tart is a rigorous scientist and can find technical flaws in many of our closely held spiritual beliefs.  He is also devoted to spirituality and is doing his best to bridge the gap. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book and each chapter drew me in with fascinating interest.

You might think it's logical to doubt time travel. Science has no doubt. I'm interviewing physicist Dr. David Lewis Anderson who not only has his own time control laboratory but networks with scientists in many other countries who are advancing this field and are often funded by their governments. There is no if or maybe involved. The equipment is already working and is regularly demonstrated but there are many questions as to the pros and cons of this work. So much can be learned by traveling to other times yet we aren't clear about what harm can come from this. If you are spiritually inclined, this presents new understandings of consciousness. Our whole understanding of the nature of time needs to be reworked.

There are many details in official NASA photos that show evidence of life on Mars. I'm interviewing Andrew Basiago who has made a deep study of these photos to understand how much and what kind of life is really there. I saw the evidence myself and it's hard to argue about the objects, forms and even humanity that is revealed.  Andrew's conclusions are very shocking and they represent a need to change our thinking about life in the solar system. He's currently an attorney in Washington state and had a history from an earlier time in his life working with the U.S. military involving interplanetary travel.
