Discusses fact that taxes are going to go up. The largest new tax is the individual mandate for purchasing health insurance. The IRS will penalize 2.5% of your income if you don't purchase health insurance. But paying that penalty may be cheaper than buying health insurance. Many people will still be uninsured. There are those who will be exempt from complying with the mandate: religious objectors, illegal immigrants, prisoners, those earning less than the poverty line, Indian trives and "hardship cases."
