Last week Dr.Vikki had a consult with a woman at Sloane Kettering in NY. Dr.Vikki made a full protocol for her. When the patient talked to the nurse before the operation, the nurse freaked out and told her she should leave Sloane and go to a smaller local hospital for her care. What the hell? This patient was at Sloane because they have good surgeons. A local hospital is not going to do any better with a protocol. The psychological attitude that if you ask for things for your care you that you need to leave your hospital is not ethical. The nurse needs to learn a new way to cope other than tell patients to go somewhere else. Patients have the right to ask questions and ask for care they want. This is an issue still needed to evolve in medical care. This is one area that DOCTORVIKKI@gmail.com has been a leader in for over 30 years. In this CD and archived radio program Valerie Girard reminds everyone what FRS is and how it changed women’s medical care. FRS has new technology and new operation’s. FRS also has protocols which have helped thousands of women. The famous and talented opera singer Valerie Girard will explain why singers want FRS. December 9, 2011 This is an ongoing investigation into UAE Uterine Artery Embolization. Dedria Sims will be interviewed speaking on cases she has worked on over the years in which the outcome of general care has been poor. The most recent case of UAE resulted in the death of a 28 year old Hispanic female. The medical system abandoned this woman. Her family has no idea what took place . Lourdes Ruiz did not have informed consent or disclosure. She did not have proper follow up care. Her case as many others was not reported to the FDA. The non-reporting of these cases will be discussed in detail. Doctor Vikki reported her death after 3 weeks of calls to the FDA this week.
