David Crowe:  President, Rethinking AIDS and  Alberta Reappraising AIDS Society. He has been researching HIV and AIDS for over a decade and is well known for his extensive reviews of the scientific literature on HIV testing, AIDS drug toxicity, evidence against sexual transmission and more.

Prof Helen Lauer: Associate professor and head of the Dept of Philosophy, Univ of Ghana. She is currently seeking funds to support workshops that extend outside the university, to correct  misconceptions spread by the global media about the causes of epidemic disease and premature death in Africa, and to inform experts in the country about the controversies that persist about HIV/AIDS internationally. 

Prof  Marco Ruggiero MD, PhD: Full Professor of Molecular Biology, Clinical Radiologist, Univ of Firenze, Italy; his research has shown that HIV can protect against cancer and cannot cause AIDS. He will be presenting experimental results on an alternative cure for AIDS at the XVIII International Conference of AIDS in Vienna this coming July.

Diana Beresford-Kroeger: Irish-Canadian researcher, scientist and nature mystic who perhaps knows more about trees and forests than anyone in North America. She is an expert botanist and medical biochemist who has written extensively on the molecular biology of trees, their medicinal properties, the social interactions between trees and other life forms in our forests, sustainable forestry, and the traditional wisdom trees hold for healing. Her scientific work has appeared in The American Heart Journal and the Journal of Microscopy. In past she has held science posts at the Canadian Dept of Agriculture and the Univ of Ottawa School of Medicine. Diana’s own research gardens outside Ottawa, open to the public, include rare plants from Turkey, Iran, China, and a hundred rare types of trees from the northern forests and other countries, many that are endangered. Her recent book, “The Global Forest”, shares 40 short essays revealing someone who understands a subject so deeply that information is transmuted to wisdom.
