Auschwitz Memorial
The directors of The Auschwitz Memorial are taking steps to make it more relevant to a generation for whom The Holocaust is "ancient history". Do we need such active memorials so far beyond the events that occurred? Absolutely but there's a need to think about the reasons why we need them-- for the sake of our collective history and our own, personal lives.
