This evening's radio show will be a Wisdom & Longevity Roundtable, with two elders (Dr. Alex Imich -left, who is over 107, Rabbi Joseph Gelberman - right, age 97) one younger nutritionist (Alix Thelemaque) and one major health activist, author, and Health & Longevity expert, Gary Null. Indeed, wisdom does not always accompany age, but in the case of Dr. Imich and Rabbi Gelberman, they surely do. Part of that wisdom is expressed in their ability to live well and to age well, beyond the ordinary, and so today's show will address this subject of living well and long, and how have these two succeeded so well?

The younger part of the Roundtable discussion are two experts in health, nutrition and longevity, and that's internationally-acclaimed health activist, radio celebrity, researcher, filmmaker, author and nutritionist, Founder of Progressive Radio Network, Gary Null (left), who has written extensively about aging; and nutritionist-kinesiologist, product formulator, Alix Thelemaque (right), who specializes in electro-nutrition, and "turning on organs electrically" even sometimes in people with advanced age. It's a particular honor to have Gary Null join us today to "weigh in" on the subject due to his extensive work and researcher into health and longevity.

We planned to invite the famous yogi, Swami Bua on to today's show as well, who is thought to be no less than 114, and according to some of his students, possibly even 120, but unfortunately, we just learned that he passed on, in India, just less than a week ago, July 28, after a healthy life as a yogi, vegetarian and teacher and guru to thousands. We are sorry to have missed having him as a guest for this Roundtable by less than a week, but we wish to honor him in the fullest, and thank him for his life dedicated to health, happiness, yoga and service.

Dr. Imich is a Polish-Jewish bio-chemist and parapsychologist, writer whose 101st birthday I attended; and Rabbi Gelberman is of Hungarian-Jewish descent, actually a progressive Chasidic rabbi who substitutes as a stand-up comedian, even when he's sitting down, and author of several books on Judiaism, inter-faith and Kabbalah. Rabbi is the founder of several Inter-faith Seminaries here in NYC over the past 40 years. Both have been guests over the years on A Better World.
