A Better World - 10/24/11

Today’s show will be an Indigenous Prophecy Roundtable. Once a biologist conducting cancer research for WHO and now, internationally-renowned scholar and author of several books on The Mayan Calendar, Carl Calleman, will speak of his unique & fascinating claim that the Mayan Calendar completion date is not Dec. 21, 2012 but October 28, 2011, that is, later this week. Calleman latest book is The Purposeful Universe.

A last-minute inclusion today are Hopi Ruben Saufkie, Sr. who just returned from Paris where he was working with Dr. Calleman. Ruben was raised on the second mesa of Hopi Land, which is the most traditional mesas. With Ruben is Elyse Monet, a healer, speaker and teacher, who will also be part of the Roundtable, They are in NY for the Spirituality Week at the U.N. where Ruben will perform the traditional Hopi Eagle dance, all significant in Hopi culture & prophecy.

What do the Mayans and the Hopi say about this moment in world history and the future of humanity? Clearly we are at a crossroads in time and consciousness and these two spiritual traditions have much to share with us of their ancient wisdom.

Regular listeners will remember an interview with Hopi Prophecy holder, John Kimmey, designated by Grandfather David, in December, 2009, on A Better World.
