Sitting with Mitchell in studio this evening is Meir Schneider, Ph.D., LMT, founder of The School for Self-Healing based in San Francisco. Meir's own story is remarkable. He was born with cataracts and after 5 unsuccessful surgeries was declared legally blind. Through disciplined use of the Bates' Method which offers exercises to strengthen the eyes, some 13 hours/day for 7 years, he gained his eyesight and holds a CA. driver's license. Meir's school has trained many practitioners in his method of self-healing. The healing methods include improving eyesight but have had noted effects on muscular dystrophy and a wide range of ailments among people from across the world.
