Some suggest that the left and right are no different in their rhetoric, but in our discussion Sara Robinson dismantles those claims, pointing out the radical differences between the two groups, including the fact in that there are no major figures on the left calling for the deaths of conservatives, and no shootings of right-wing leaders.
Robinson views the Arizona shootings as domestic terrorism and the result of 20 years of conservative media propagating violent rhetoric against liberal Americans. Gifford got caught in the crossfire. Will the right admit to their role in fueling the flames of this escalating tide of violence and pull back on their rhetoric? How many more will be killed before American rise up and demand change?
