Bradley Manning’s Imprisonment, Illegal and Inhumane

Guest: David MacMichael - Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)

Private First Class Bradley Manning, a 22 year old, intelligence analyst charged with releasing classified video of American troops shooting Iraqi civilians from an Apache helicopter has been inprisoned for 246 days a little over 8 months and held in solitary confinement at the U.S. Marine Corps brig at Quantico, Virginia, since July. U>S Military officials have admitted they are unable to make any connection Bradley Manning and Julian Assange. His imprisonment has been called inhumane, excessive and equivalent to torture, and he has yet to be convicted of any crime. He is awaiting court martial.

David was a marine corp. captain whose last commission before resigning in 1959 was commanding the the headquarters company at Quantico the very facility where Bradley Manning is being held.
