The Lifeboat Hour - 11/20/11

Mike had no guest this week, but welcomed many callers and fielded a great number of listener questions. The main topic of the evening was the evolving Occupy Movement, the UC Davis pepper spraying incident, and the accelerating collapse of the global economy.

MRs forecast dates are always WAY OFF but I still listen every week since there's so much right-on-target info and, of course, the masterful grasp of the big picture. Word of advice to MR: back off such concrete and firm predictions of what's supposed to happen the very next week. The MR track record for short erm forecasting has been pretty dismal even if the long term forecast is spot on. To some folks this destroys credibility.
I think Mike's frequently said that he, or you, or I, cannot predict the EXACT MOMENT that any particular event will take place. That's just fantasy and I'm totally amazed that adults would take this so literally, like an 8-year-old not capable of much abstract thought. He's often said the exact timeline doesn't matter, and anyone with half a memory knows this is what he means when he sees trends coming and points them out-- this MIGHT happen, or he is of the opinion that x likelihood could take place possibly during x space of time. Doesn't matter exactly when the parts fall off, this type of sick civilization that disproportionately benefits so few and destroys the vast remainder of us "useless eaters--" (take THAT, Heinz, and Kiss my Heinzinger...) is getting exactly what it has been calling for: It's going down. No one knows, probably not even God, if you still "believe" in an original cause... or did we all just "cause" ourselves and everything else we see here to come into existence, no help from anything or any force higher than ourselves...? That is the biggest problem I'm seeing with the Big Picture. Entities occupying human form that believe they are more powerful and more creative that what created them. Didn't Mary Shelley try to warn us all with her immortal book, Frankenstein's Monster? But all the sheep could see in that work of literature were the weird hairdos and styles of walking, and the warning about technology (powered by oil) was entirely lost on the stoopid sheep. They still have NO idea what that story's really all about.
@mahdoudsah (if that IS your name)... Anyone with even ONE TENTH of a memory knows that whenever Mike Ruppert sees something political happening, he immediately has to inject himself into the middle of it so he can make a total mockery of it! Where have YOU been?
