Your guest stated that this could render a large part of Japan uninhabitable for a very long time. That's what we thought about Chernobyl too but look what's happened - people have moved back in there despite the consequences.
As times grow more desperate people will be willing to do things previous thought of as not possible - like living in a highly contaminated area after a nuclear disaster. But honestly, what's the difference of living there vs Mossville LA or Calvert City KY or any other number of highly toxic locations? Or eat food that's contaminated with untested genetic modifications, etc etc.
@Kym
People have not moved back to Chernobyl, it's still very much uninhabited by humans. They may have some occasional tours around the Chernobyl area, but that's OK because they're only getting a exposure for a short period of time.
In Fukushima however, we have 6 potential Chernobyls combined with 40 years worth of spent nuclear fuel that might blow up at the same time. I'd say it has much more potential to become far more serious than Chernobyl. So far it isn't, but it's not over yet.
Hi Mike, I'm a big fan!
To what extent do you think that the eugenicists at the top of the ladder (who also own Reuters) will use this 'accident' to release radioactive material into the atmosphere in USA, to help complete their depopulation agenda? They also recently bought the Weather Channel too, did you see that?
Keep it up, I wait every week for your news.

@Johan, I hope it is true that there is no resettlement of Chernobyl but off and on over the last 10 years I've seen articles such as this: http://www.nucleartownhall.com/blog/good-news-monday-belarus-prepares-to-resettle-chernobyl-region/
I do recognize that moving back into an area contaminated beyond any extent previously known is, at first consideration, absurd. But my point is that it's not unthinkable anymore that such places will remain uninhabitable. In the new paradigm there may be tribes that make that choice.
I suspect your guest was confusing or being too loose with nuclear terms himself--"fission" and "criticality" in particular. Fission takes place even within a sub-critical mass of weapons-grade uranium, so it does not sound right to say that evidence of fission implies "criticality" or even of fission chain reactions. At least with respect to the critical mass of a bomb, I believe "critical" means that the likelihood and length of chain reactions is enough that were a single fission to occur spontaneously, all the other fissionable fuel atoms would go with it. I think "fission," "chain reaction" and "criticality" need to be distinguished.
@Kym They may be resettling the areas evacuated in Belarus due to the Chernobyl accident, but Chernobyl itself is in Ukraine.
I was interested to hear someone questioning vaccines here. It is a shame that when parents question vaccinations, which are pharmaceutical drugs that carry risks, doctors tend to tell them they are irresponsible and even delusional. Vaccination is a personal rights issue and without the informed consent ethic in medicine families will continue to suffer. In February 2011 congress passed legislation that vaccine manufactures may have complete immunity from liability. This means that if a vaccine injures you or your child you cannot receive compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Act. In a world where industry profits off of problems, who can you trust? You will find everything you need to know by thoroughly examining CDC and FDA websites. It is obvious than for a developing human being vaccinations can do much more harm than good. Vaccinology has not changed since it began, mercury and other neurotoxin chemicals are still in vaccines and the schedule grows every year. I hope that doctors start listening to parents instead of ridiculing them. Your health, your choice, your family www.NVIC.org

@Johan, Thanks for keeping me honest. Here is the latest from today, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-12925041
I remember reading about those pensioners moving back so that must be what I was thinking of...
Regardless, the broader point was that we all accept the polluted environment we live in and will probably do it even more readily in the future.
Ciao
They discussed the issue of the difficulty of telling people about this. I'm telling everyone I can. I don't care if they think I'm crazy because I know I will soon be vindicated. I'm even getting into it with strangers at the supermarket.
Tonight I had to sit down with my teenage son and look him in the eyes and tell him that things are very bad. He wanted to know specifics and I told him I don't know how its going to play out but that life will be changing soon and getting harder. I explained that I don't want to scare him but that I needed to prepare him emotionally. I reassured him that we have each other and things will be okay. How I wish I knew that were true. But I do believe that if you think positively you're more likely to have a positive outcome. Just wanted to share that.
keep up the great work!
