Thank you guys, Posted all over facebook :)
This is redicilous. Alex Jones is wrong about some things, like how the nwo can't play out with declining energy. But these two are wrong about global warming, that also can't play out with declining energy. But all three have genuine concerns of how the future can be more hellish then necessary. No one seems to get it all right, thats why we don't have prophets anymore, and only fools miss prophets. Only thing one can do is keep reading history and hope the dominos hit as few as possible when they fall.
Happy festivus.
Prophecy is simply the act of determining the future by understanding cause and effect. The reason the elders built massive underground bunkers with giant blast-proof doors is so that when the time comes they can sit in them and fiddle while Rome burns. And they have always known that day would come.
Most people talk about the problem as if it were a result of the process. In that respect, they have it exactly backwards. But I guess that's what comes from worshiping fal$e god$.
Loved the show. The solution, I feel, is to stop buying into the old conceptual templates. Our power lies in our numbers. We must begin to self-identify as a species and fight back with yes, demonstrations, but also disengagement and withdrawal of our energies on many levels - including belief. For ex: stop repeated canalized thought/speech frames like "As Americans". "our president", "our elected officials". Most national leaders no longer identify with us, but with the small power elite, their statecraft is stagecraft. Communist China has this year been invited to join the Bilderbergers - so much for ideological differences. All the old isms, Republicrat dialectics, etc. are as obsolete as talking about the Torries or the Whigs. We must all now shift our loyalty and allegiance as a species to our Mother (Mother Earth) and our brothers and sisters in Earth creation (human and non-human). The most important broadcast of 2011 - The Year of Redemption
Government exists for the purpose of settling disputes, directing traffic, etc; all in the service to whoever possesses the most money. It was created out of money, to act as the arbiter of industry.
Money, itself, is how we "keep score". Money has never been more efficient than in it's current incarnation. And the ignorant masses who are exploited by this mechanism of power and wealth, accept it's existence primarily because they have not been provided the education necessary to overcome it. This as a product of the "education" mandated by law; it does not occur in spite of it.
In other words: You have been made slaves to the money; first as an inheritance, and later by your own participation
Therein lies your problem, should you ever choose to see it.
Why Mike keeps saying he wants to "change the way money works" is something completely beyond my comprehension (other than it being a "Mikeism"). Money works just fine! It's those who love money -- those who don't know how to live without money -- those who see money as their god -- who are fucked! And that's a lot of goddamned people!!
You want to fix the world? Walk away from money! All money! .. Gold.. Silver.. Jewelry.. Little shiny sea shells.. Oil-rich land holdings in the south pacific.. ALL OF IT!!.
YOU DON'T OWN ONE FUCKING THING ON THIS PLANET! RECOGNIZE THAT!! --or-- BECOME EXTINCT!! The universe doesn't care either way.
--- --- ---
The following is something I personally consider "useful"
(I felt it necessary to point that out, as it has been said that I never contribute anything to the discussion):
Charity is the antithesis of money. It's not an institution you give money to every quarter so you can deduct it from your income tax, and make it look like you give a shit about humanity at the same time. It's how you live your life!
But you can't live a life of charity and expect to keep all of your fancy toys. I don't just mean your yachts and your SUVs and your private jets; I also mean your skateboards and your cellphones and your beloved internet (you want to talk energy sink, see "Google Inc. Electricity Usage").
Charity also requires trust; and we've got a long way to go in that department!
--- --- ---
Probably one of the most insulting things to my intelligence is to see an environmentalist getting on an airplane; or to hear someone saying the words "getting back to nature" and "creating jobs" in the same breath. Yet, I encounter that sort of thinking all the time. In fact, I encounter more of it here than anywhere else!
But, hey... What else should I expect from the internet, right? The land where "everyone is the same age"? Yeah, someone actually said that to me.. Someone from Mike Ruppert's facebook page, as a matter of fact! I still can't get over the ridiculousness of that statement!!
Unless he meant 10 going on 3½, then I TOTALLY get it!
hey David, calm down! I agree with you, and I see that you're angry, but maybe try to acknowledge that Mike and Peter are at least voices out there amongst so much other dross - if they manage to get ten people to sit up and listen, that won't be a bad thing, right?
Great show guys, although Peter was interrupted when he was about to say what he thought about Anonymous, and I'd like to hear his reply...
You "see that I am angry"? How can you "see that I am angry"? This is the internet.. Virtual Reality!! .. There is nothing going on here for me to get angry about!
Maybe you meant "Virtually Angry""?? lol
No, if I am "angry" about anything, it would be that the entire human population has been reduced to a bunch of mushrooms, staring into their little view-screens, believing that they are doing something important!
But, truth be known, I'm not really all that upset about that, either; as it keeps y'all out of my way most of the time!
And yes, I'm fully aware of the hypocrisy in what I just said. ;-)
As for Mike and Peter "raising awareness", that is entirely unnecessary. The world is already plenty aware</>, at least of how fucked our situation is. What people like Mike and Peter --and Alex Jones; and Max Kaiser; and Jesse "The Body" Ventura; and etc; and etc-- DO is to stir children into a tizzy; which is really the only thing I believe to be posing any real danger!
But I EXPECT the world to blow up, and I always have. So there's really no point in my getting angry at those trying to hasten it on, now is there? As a matter of fact, I find them all quite amusing!
Prophecy
Peter Technology-Boy Joseph is gonna be in for a real treat when his daddy Jacque Fresco's techno wet dream joins the countless shallow, short-sighted idea-failures of history for at least a few hundred years, if not forever.
I haven't actually listened to an episode of this show in months, by the way, since everyone cares.
