Oppenheimer was an atheist, a genius and as close to a Communist as you could get in the 30's without joining the party. He regretted what he was doing while he was doing it and opposed the building of more and bigger bombs afterward...

Question: How could a man like that survive successfully in our America? Answer: He didn't.
