Truth and Freedom - 11/18/11

“Farmageddon: The War of the United States Federal Corporation against Food and Farmers” – with Diane Miller, JD

We examine the current escalation of federal and state attacks on individual rights to choose foods, as well as the loss of freedom by farmers in growing what they want and how. Among the topics covered will be the battle over raw milk, and also HR 3088, the Burton bill, which goes around the hostile FDA attempt to overturn DSHEA and our right to choice of supplements. We also look at the looming assault on the local food freedom bill passed by the town of Blue Hill, Maine.

DIANE MILLER is Director of Law and Public Policy for the National Health Freedom Coalition, and its co-founder. She helped pass The 1999 Access to Complementary and Alternative Health Care Act in Minnesota, a safe harbor law for herbalists, homeopaths, naturopaths, and healers of all kinds. Diane works to protect DSHEA, helps author freedom legislation, and to have a voice in Codex. You can participate in health freedom at www.nationalhealthfreedom.org and www.pandemicfluonline.com.
