“Use of the 10^th amendment and the principle of ‘Coordination’ to limit abuses of power by US Inc” with Fred Kelly Grant, former US Attorney 

The disturbing trend in America of federal government encroachment on states’ rights and the sovereign rights of the individual is accelerating. This is arguably the most threatening presence in the lives of Americans. Fred Kelly Grant has pioneered successful strategies to limit this encroachment and to work at local levels to coordinate the sovereign power the people with federal agency policies. Fred was successful in helping 4 small communities in Texas to stop the development of the trans-Texas corridor, keystone to the NAFTA Superhighway. Fred shares stories of his successes and strategies for future work limiting the unlawfully exercised power of the United States federal government. 

Fred Kelly Grant clerked for Chief Judge Frederick W. Brune of the Maryland Court of Appeals, then served as assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland under Presidents Johnson and Nixon. He was counsel to Idaho Governors Andrus and Evans, then director of research for Idaho’s Third Judicial District judges, before beginning a career in assisting local governments to assert their authority with federal and state agencies. He assisted Owyhee County, Idaho in developing the first county “coordination” process that allowed the county to take a balanced seat at the management table with the federal land management and natural resource agencies. He is also president of Fred Kelly Grant, Ltd., Director of the Foundation for Common Sense, special advisor to the Business Council of the Shoshone Paiute Tribes of Duck Valley, Nevada, and former President of American Stewards of Liberty.
