Greg Palast is a journalist’s journalist, with the BBC and the British newspaper The Guardian, who has been called by the Tribune in the UK “the most important investigative journalist in our time.” He has won many awards including from the Financial Times,  the National Press Club and the George Orwell Courage in Journalism.

In the past his investigations have included cover-ups, racketeering, and bribery among the big oil and energy companies and the nuclear industries fraudulent site testing and lies over nuclear reactor safety measures.

His new book is being released today, entitled “Vultures’ Picnic: In Pursuit of Petroleum Pigs, Power Pirates, and High Finance Carnivores”, which traverses much of the world to uncover the corruption in the oil and nuclear industries.
