The Death Ceiling
If we realistically taxed the rich, stopped killing people overseas, and had Medicare-for-All like other civilized countries, we could probably afford all the health care support that Medicare and Social Security (pitiful as that is) provide.
If we realistically taxed the rich, stopped killing people overseas, and had Medicare-for-All like other civilized countries, we could probably afford all the health care support that Medicare and Social Security (pitiful as that is) provide. But still there remains a question... Should our lives be preserved to the very last breath, no matter how non-functional our brains and bodies become? And should the rest of the country be required to pay for it? Some questions asked...
