The Myths and Truths About the Pill - What You MUST Know

Jane Bennett originally trained in Social Work and Clinical Hypnotherapy  and has worked with Natural Fertility Management Pty Ltd since 1990, organizing training seminars and ongoing support for health professionals offering the NFM methods in their practices. Jane designed and wrote The Natural Fertility Management Conception Kit and The Natural Fertility Management Contraception Kit with Francesca Naish.

Since 2000 Jane has run workshops for mothers of daughters, A Blessing Not a Curse, and for girls with their mothers, A Celebration Day for Girls. These have been held at schools and for school communities in Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT and South Australia. In 2002 Jane's book, A Blessing Not a Curse - a mother-daughter guidebook about menarche, menstruation and the menstrual cycle (Sally Milner Publishing), was published.

In 2005, responding to requests from parents and girls and her own expanding interests, Jane began facilitating groups with fathers, Fathers Celebrating Daughters, and older girls, Cool on the Inside.

In May 2008 Jane's second book with co-author, Alexandra Pope was published by Allen and Unwin: The Pill: Are you sure it's for you?. This book addresses the issues of informed choice around contraception and the importance of communication between partners on this important topic. The book includes helpful tips and steps for thinking through and communicating about contraception and STD protection.
